Overview
It could come from behind and surpass everything else. Right now, there’s not much hype around Mirai, but believe me, whoever watches it once will definitely recommend it to at least ten others. And those who watch it won’t be able to forget it.
Making an adventure film in India with just ₹60 crore is a big achievement, especially when even ₹600 crore sometimes isn’t enough for big actors, producers, and directors. Just for this idea alone, they deserve applause. But when you see the quality of scenes shown in the teaser, you’ll want to whistle along with clapping. After watching this teaser, it’s hard to understand where the money was spent on a film like Adipurush. With that amount, you could make ten Mirai movie. It feels like one of the biggest scams in Indian cinema has been exposed.
After this Mirai teaser, it’s clear the real problem was with the filmmakers, not the people who worked in those films. If someone can imagine and show this kind of story on a big screen with just ₹60 crore, then as an audience, it’s our responsibility to support this kind of cinema as much as possible. It was truly exciting to see such a different kind of presentation after a long time—something that not only impresses your eyes but also makes you think.
The concept is about the end of the world, and the only thing that can save it is a weapon—a stick. Something similar to what turned Prabhas into Karna in the Kalki movie. The best scene of the teaser was saved for the very end. After seeing that, one thing is confirmed—there’s a lot more in the movie that wasn’t shown in the Mirai teaser.
Some people might complain that Teja Sajja looks slightly misfit in such a big superhero role. But that might actually be the strength of the film—how an ordinary man turns into a great warrior. If a well-known actor like Hrithik Roshan plays the role, he already looks powerful, so there’s no real transformation needed. That’s why the formula of Mirai might work better.
It’s a bit early to say, but didn’t the Hindi dubbing sound a little off? It didn’t feel very natural. The film’s team might need to work on that. Also, did you notice—some scenes in the teaser are inspired by history, and they might remind you of Kalki movie’s Mahabharata scenes. That was a ₹600 crore movie. And this one is a ₹60 crore dream that looks very similar. Wow.
I often say there’s no need to make remakes. If our film industry starts reading our history, we won’t need Batman or Superman. We already have real gods. Make films on them. Karthikeya 2, Kantara, Kalki 2898 AD, Hanuman, and now Mirai will be added to that list—because this isn’t just a normal superhero movie. It will somehow be connected to the final avatar of Lord Vishnu—Kalki.
It’s been more than 1,000 days since the Shaktimaan movie was announced, and every year the makers release some joke and fool the public. Now it’s the audience’s turn to take revenge—by supporting films like Mirai. If we get more such films, we won’t even need Shaktimaan. You all can play “Shaktimaan-Shaktimaan” among yourselves.
Now the real question is—Hanuman movie earned big, but much of the credit went to the subject of the film. Without that subject, can Mirai achieve pan-India success? The VFX looked great. The concept is brilliant. There’s a strong connection to history. And the ending has a powerful, goosebump-worthy scene. Now we just need the film to release soon.
Public opinion—how did you like the Mirai movie teaser? Be honest—if I hadn’t told you, would you have believed this movie was made on just ₹60 crore? Tell the truth in the comments.
