So, even when the marketing material of this movie started coming out, people didn’t pay much attention. But now that the trailer has been released and it is not bad.

And this is what happens when we keep our expectations low. After watching the trailer, it feels like the movie might actually work good in cinemas. While watching it, I realized that these people are literally roasting themselves, and this is the best way to deliver comedy scenes.
Maybe Arjun Kapoor has now understood what people think about him and what he needs to do. There’s a sense of acceptance in him that, yes, he hasn’t done anything extraordinary so far, and he hasn’t really made a mark. You can literally see in the trailer that he has roasted his Singham Again character, “Danger Lanka.” This is a sign of good sportsmanship.
Now, this Mere Husband Ki Biwi movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh, and both of them play Arjun Kapoor’s love interests. But as the makers claim, this is not a love triangle movie; instead, it is a love circle movie.
In Mere Husband Ki Biwi movie, Bhumi Pednekar was previously Arjun Kapoor’s wife, but now, it seems like they are divorced. Because now, Rakul Preet Singh as Antra, has entered Arjun Kapoor’s life. The twist comes when Bhumi’s character suffers from retrograde amnesia, causing her to forget the past five to six years of her life. And now, Arjun’s past and future life both become chaotic.
By the way, I actually searched about this disease, and it turns out that such a condition does exist, where a patient loses some of their memory. The makers have used this concept to create a comedy movie, and honestly, it is a smart move.
After Watching the trailer of Mere Husband Ki Biwi movie, this movie is giving me to the vibe of Bhumi Pednekar’s another movie Pati Patni Aur Woh. The family drama of the both movies is looking similar but there was Kartik Aryan in the lead role of Pati Patni Aur Woh movie and now, Arjun Kapoor is going to make a movie in that concept.
To be honest, Mere Husband Ki Biwi movie feels more about Bhumi and Rakul than Arjun Kapoor, because now it’s a battle between the two to win over Ankur Chaddha, as Arjun Kapoor. Now, Arjun’s last role was in Singham Again, and regardless of how the movie was, at least he received appreciation for his performance.
But now, even his Danger Lanka character is being roasted. And who’s doing the roast? None other than Harsh Gujral, a well-known stand-up comedian who has already made a name for himself in the comedy scene. Seeing him play a prominent role in the movie was a great touch.
Overall, after watching the trailer of Mere Husband Ki Biwi, I can say that Mudassar Aziz has focused more on comedy rather than just the cast. And by releasing such a trailer, he has shown that even though this movie might be an underdog right now, but the movie is still left, my friend! So, I hope the movie stands out just like the trailer did.
