Overview
The way South directors present Hindi actors is something Bollywood never even imagined. Add Tiger Shroff’s name to that list. People missed him in War 2 movie, but don’t worry. Just 21 days after War, a volcano will erupt. The bloodiest film of Tiger Shroff’s career has begun. And now there’s a copy of Animal movie out — so similar that even Animal will get confused about which is the real one. Some scenes in the teaser are exactly the same.
When Baaghi 4’s teaser got an adult certificate from the Censor Board, no one thought a Bollywood film would show such extreme violence — violence that maybe shouldn’t even be allowed. In less than two minutes, it brings back memories of bloody films like Marco, Animal, and Hit 3.
Seeing Tiger Shroff’s new look is shocking. Whether you believe it or not, even without saying a dialogue, when he just stands there, his screen presence feels different. Other than Vidyut Jammwal, there’s no one in Bollywood who can do what Tiger Shroff can easily do. The teaser is proof.

The real surprise is Sanjay Dutt, who has shown rivers of blood. The action scenes are on another level compared to the earlier Baaghi films, and the credit goes to the South director. But along with praise, criticism will also come — because he had clearly said that while the earlier Baaghi films were inspired by South projects, Baaghi 4 would be a completely original film. But in just two minutes, so many scenes look copied that you wonder what else will be in the full film.
With an action hero like Tiger Shroff, you can do anything. If they had used their brains to make something original, the teaser’s impact would have been different. The idea to show heroines in action failed completely — their fights look fake and even funny because of low-quality VFX. Showing the girls as overly powerful ruined the men’s action scenes too.

Since they were already copying Animal movie, they couldn’t leave out a similar background track. The song isn’t bad, it’s good, but there’s no emotional feeling like in Animal. In Animal, there were emotions in every relationship — father-son, husband-wife — but Baaghi 4 is selling the teaser only through violence.
When you watch the Kill teaser, all the action feels real and natural. Baaghi 4’s teaser doesn’t do that. Tiger Shroff is not the problem — he’s trying his best — but his dialogue delivery still doesn’t work for me. I missed Shraddha Kapoor; the two beautiful models here don’t match her role from Baaghi 1.
Baaghi 4’s teaser is totally unexpected. It shows a lot of violence, but it feels copied, and because of the VFX, it looks fake. Will a teaser like Animal’s bring Animal-level box office success, or will the Baaghi franchise sink by trying to be over-smart despite Tiger’s hard work?
