Overview

The story is set in a school where a small child has gone missing. But the strange part is, this isn’t the first time he’s disappeared. Before this, he had also run away and was found in a terrifying place—a forest that has a graveyard in it. There are thousands of trees around it where evil spirits are believed to live, and the local people know this very well. Oh, and there’s also a famous story about a leopard in that forest that randomly comes out and hunts humans.
Back to the school—things are in chaos. After the child goes missing, the police get involved. During the investigation, they find out that this kid used to tell lies to the other students about their parents. After hearing all this, you’ll realize that something is very wrong here—it’s not just a little secret, the whole thing is messed up.
You’ve probably heard of the butterfly effect. In short, it means a small action, like a butterfly flapping its wings, can trigger a chain reaction that affects thousands of things. To simplify: in Asur series, if Dhananjay hadn’t sent Shubh to jail, the whole serial killer plot wouldn’t have even started. Similarly, in School of Lies show, one small incident slowly brings out the hidden demons inside the school.
Why should you watch this School Of Lies show? First, the suspense is truly mind-testing and full of unexpected twists. The makers are always one step ahead of you. You’ll be confused trying to figure out when the story shifted from past to present and back again. Second, the concept is very unique—something you probably haven’t seen before. Shows about schools exist, but this one tackles a topic that most people are afraid to talk about openly. You’ll understand better when you watch this School Of Lies show yourself.
I’ll also give you one reason not to watch this School Of Lies show—the screenplay is a bit slow. You’ll need patience because the story takes its time to build. And even though the show is about kids, don’t mistake it for a children’s series. There’s blood, violence, murder, and a very sensitive issue that ties everything to real life. So don’t take it lightly. The content is dark, serious, and no-nonsense. It’s a story you’ve never heard or seen before. The direction keeps the suspense alive, and you won’t be able to guess the real truth of this School Of Lies show.
The casting is excellent. These are actors you’ll remember not for their names, but for their powerful performances. I only have two complaints. First, the show is a little slow—personally, I liked it, but the general audience might find it boring. Second, while it’s great to push the story forward in Season 2, please don’t rush through the end of Season 1.
