Overview
So first of all the trailer of Homebound movie gives the pure raw vibe of the village or rural atmosphere. The story is set-up in the village where two friends which are played by Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa, are struggling to find the government job in the police department. Their family background has been shown very poor and I don’t know why am I being so emotional while watching the trailer of Homebound movie.
Lets back to the story. The respect of their family and themselves is so low in the society. The Cricket teammates also disrespect and fighting with them. One of them got abused from the office employee where he was doing the job of peon because he belongs to the lower cast.
Both don’t even have a solid house. In the trailer, one of them said that he will make a solid roof of his home after becoming police man and he will sit on the roof wearing his police uniform then no one will disrespect him and everyone will also give him salute. The trailer of Homebound shows the struggle of their journey of becoming a police. The Trailer of Homebound deliver the experience of poor man’s life.
Now, lets talk about the performance of the actors. The acting of both male lead actors ( Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa ) are looking so natural in the trailer and I believe audience will also connect deeply with them. Female lead actress- Janhvi Kapoor did her best in the acting. Janhvi Kapoor is seeming so raw in the movie. Her looks, dress-up and performance seems so connecting with the her role.
In the movie, Janhvi Kapoor’s character is also belongs the same poor family background. I think this one is the best performance of the Janhvi Kapoor till now. Ishaan Khatter also gave his best in the movie. His last series- Royals, where his acting is not giving good vibe but in the Homebound movie, he is killing by his acting. He is doing the same work as Vikrant Messy did in the 12th fail movie.
Homebound movie is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan. He was also the director of Vickey Kaushal starrer movie- Masaan. And Neeraj Ghaywan as a director, he did the awesome work in the Masaan movie and after looking the trailer of Homebound, I am feeling that he also did same the afford like Massan movie.
In the trailer of Homebound, there is a scene where so many students are crossing the railway trace to caught the train. After looking this particular scene, immediate I remembered the real recent incident of India where so many students were going to exam center through hanging on the entering gate of the train. And some students got injured while the journey.
That was the sad news for every Indians that how a student struggles a lot to get a basic government jot to insecure his future. After doing that level of struggle, the exam becomes cancelled. Just think about that how much this would be painful for a student. And I think that Homebound movie also tried to show that level of student struggle in the movie.
The budget of Homebound movie is around ₹50 Crores. And movie is justifying his budget with his presentation and vibe. The subject of this movie is related with the most common social issue- unemployment. And I think most of the Indian will connect this movie. And make the collection of this movie so that it could be able to stand out in the list of blockbuster movies and could also give the motivation to the other producers to invest their money on that kind of the concept.
