Horror And Disturbing Movie Vash Level 2 Review: Impresses With Unique Concept, Powerful Suspense And Captivating Storytelling

Horror And Disturbing Movie Vash Level 2 Review

Vash is a film whose remake helped Ajay Devgn create his own universe. It is the kind of cinema where the actress won a National Award right in her very first attempt. And according to me, Vash is one of the most striking and perhaps the most realistic horror films ever made in India. Now, the sequel of the original Gujarati film Vash has been released. Its name may be Vash Level 2, but the film’s level has gone beyond 200. In the first part, only one girl was hypnotized, but this time, 200 girls are brought under control, causing chaos and destruction.

Overview

Vash Level 2 movie completely blows your mind. It is simple, if you want to enjoy this Vash Level 2 film, you must watch Vash Part One. Even if you have seen Shaitan movie, you will still need to watch Vash, because both films had different endings. Vash Level 2 movie begins exactly from where Vash Part One ended.

On television, a terrifying news story plays. A petrol pump is crowded with cars. At that moment, a girl in a school uniform comes and sets herself on fire right next to the pump. And this is only the beginning of the horror. Live CCTV footage is broadcast across the city when ten girls, one after another, jump off the roof of a school. But that was just the trailer. Things get completely out of hand when these girls break through the school gates in front of the police and begin to destroy the whole city.

They attack buses, rickshaws, hotels, roads—wherever people are found, the girls unleash violence. Anyone who has not watched Vash Part One may wonder why this is happening. The answer is hypnotic control. When a person in front of you moves only under someone else’s command, one single signal can either make them kill you or burn themselves alive. But whatever the “Uncle” says, they have to do it. Who is this Uncle? That is the suspense.

To connect the story to the first part, the original actress appears in a terrifying look for a few scenes in this Vash Level 2, and weak-hearted people might find it unbearable. Honestly, Vash Level 2 film is only 100 minutes long and moves very fast. It does not even feel like you left your home and came back from the theatre. The intermission was longer than the first half. The concept and subject are amazing and terrifying, enough to give goosebumps, but in only 100 minutes, there was not enough time to fully experience it.

Vash Part One felt very real and relatable. Imagine meeting someone casually on the road, talking for a while, and suddenly that person controls your whole life. That could happen to anyone. But Vash Level 2 may feel a bit illogical. Hypnotizing one person is believable, but hypnotizing an entire school needed a much stronger story, and that part is missing.

The beginning of Vash Level 2 film shows some very disturbing scenes that even Bollywood would find difficult to copy, even if Ajay Devgn made Shaitan 2.

The process of finding the villain is interesting, and when he finally appears and reveals his actions, the film drives you crazy. The way the girls are hypnotized is frightening, but you are left wondering what will happen next. And just when you expect an answer, the film ends without giving one.

Janaki’s character made Part One one of the most disturbing films ever, but in Vash Level 2, she has hardly been used. It feels as though the film ends in the middle. Speaking of the ending, it is the weakest part of the film. The story was twisted and built very cleverly, but it should not have been finished so simply. The climax is not enjoyable at all.

Vash Level 2 can be watched for the performances of the lead actors and its mind-bending concept, but compared to Part One, you will feel disappointed and may not even call it a true horror film.

Still, the way the hypnotized girls bring dark thoughts to life and the three scenes of Janaki are simply wow.

On the negative side, this time the story is weaker, the villain’s details are not explored, and the horror content is very little—more implied than shown. Weak-hearted people should still stay away, because the beginning itself might make you need a doctor. Vash Level 2 is worth watching, released in Hindi, but Vash Level 2 will not feel as good as Part One.
