Good news—you can easily watch Officer On Duty film in Hindi dubbing. But don’t jump into it casually because the film starts with a highly disturbing scene. A death is shown live on camera. At that moment, I couldn’t stop thinking about how they even managed to shoot such a scene.

Once you watch the first five minutes, you’ll immediately realize that this Officer On Duty film is going to be extremely dark and serious. Keep children away from it, and if you can’t handle sensitive cinema, you might want to skip it. Some scenes can be mentally unsettling.

A moving bus suddenly stops at a nearby police station. A theft has taken place inside—a gold chain is missing. Standing before the police are three women: one who was robbed, one who witnessed the robbery, and one who is being accused of committing the crime. It’s up to the police to decide who is theaf.

Just then, a newly appointed senior officer enters the station. He takes a shocking step to solve the case—something that is not only unexpected in films but also unthinkable in real life. He kicks the accused woman hard in the stomach, despite her repeatedly stating that she is pregnant. She is about to become a mother.

If this revelation has already shocked you, then brace yourself—because this Officer On Duty film has a total of four chain thefts. And the officer who just kicked a pregnant woman will be solving all of them. If the movie begins with such an intense act, imagine what’s coming next. I can’t spoil it for you—I have to keep my mouth shut.

Speaking of silence, there’s also a police officer in the station who has gone completely speechless after receiving a video call. A video that has terrified him beyond words. When civilians experience a crime, they turn to the police. But what happens when the police themselves become victims? Who will save them?

I told you earlier—Officer On Duty film begins with a disturbing scene. It shows a police officer’s corpse hanging from the ceiling of his own house. Who is this sinister force, targeting officers one by one? And what will happen when this dark force crosses paths with the officer who believes in kicking the truth out of people?

You have no idea about the negative characters in this film. The story is written in such a way that if you watch it alone, you might feel afraid to stay in your own home. If you’ve noticed, this is what Malayalam cinema does best. They focus just as much on the villain as they do on the hero.

A film like Officer On Duty is a must-watch if you want to understand how you can connect with a story even when it doesn’t feature a popular actor you recognize. The power of a strong narrative pulls you in. And the climax? Completely shocking. Everything I’ve described so far is deeply interconnected in an intelligent way.

The real thrill comes when you start trusting a character too much—only to later discover that they are the most sinister of them all.

This is a highly unpredictable film. The investigative style is fast, sharp, and smart. And the way the hero-villain dynamic is presented is fresh and terrifying. It’s only a 2-hour film, but so much happens that it feels like watching an entire web series. The details are vast, but the storytelling is lightning-fast. Blink, and you’ll miss something important.

A smart story for an intelligent audience. You’ll have to figure out who the real negative characters are. The ending is confusing—you can’t label it as right or wrong. And the acting? Completely natural, pure cinema.

With so many investigative movies already out there, Officer On Duty doesn’t necessarily stand out as something extraordinary. There’s nothing particularly unique about it. Plus, the hero-villain arc is kept short, wrapping up too quickly to leave a lasting impact.

Still, go watch the film on Netflix. I’d love to say, watch it with your family. But because of the disturbing content, you’ll have to decide for yourself.
