Overview

This is the same South Indian cinema that people often mock, calling it “cheap” and making fun of their action scenes. But when they create serious films, no one can match them.

The calendar has changed, it’s a new year, and once again, in 2025, a South Indian movie has achieved the same kind of magic that Maharaja movie did with Vijay Sethupathi in 2024. Meanwhile, Bollywood’s popular actors released movies like The Diplomat, which, despite delivering good content, could not even recover half of its budget.

On the other hand, a small South Indian film called Court – State vs Nobody has stunned the Telugu industry. It recovered its full budget on the first day itself and by the end of the first week, it had earned at least 200% profit. Made with a modest budget of just 10 crores, this Court – State vs Nobody film doesn’t have any superstars or big brand names — just teenage actors and pure content.

Shows are running houseful, day and night. Extra shows are being added due to public demand.

To explain it simply — just like when Jolly LLB movie was released in Bollywood and Arshad Warsi, despite not being a big star, created a film whose content no one could match — similarly, this Court – State vs Nobody Telugu film has done the same.

But the climax of this Court – State vs Nobody film can even shock the makers of Jolly LLB! Court – State vs Nobody movie challenges the common bias seen today where, in gender debates, boys are easily portrayed negatively. It doesn’t shy away from showing the uncomfortable truths — and it should make people uncomfortable.

The story revolves around a court case. A boy is facing serious charges pressed by the police, accusing him of committing crimes against a girl. There’s a CCTV recording showing the boy and the girl locked in a room for 16 minutes. Afterwards, things escalate when the police get involved. The real question is whether the girl was found hiding in the boy’s house willingly or under force. That’s what needs to be proven in court.

There are only 70 hours left to save this boy from a fate worse than death — life imprisonment. The boy’s future lies in the hands of a lawyer who has never even fought a single case before — it’s his very first case, and he’s up against the police and public opinion. And where is the girl? Why isn’t she present in court? What really happened during those 16 minutes behind closed doors?

Just listening to this might sound thrilling, but watching Court – State vs Nobody film till the very end will make you respect South Indian cinema even more. You must have heard of Nani, the “Natural Star” known for his realistic acting. This time, Court – State vs Nobody film he has presented to the world feels extremely real — full of suspense, twists, thriller moments, and a gripping courtroom drama filled with betrayal, truth, lies, and deep emotions.

This movie shows how easy it is to manipulate people’s minds, how the narrative can twist lies into truth and truth into lies — it’ll leave you thinking for days. The real hero of this film is its story — written raw and without filters, delivered with powerful presentation and realistic acting that doesn’t even feel like acting.

But the biggest X-factor of this film? The villain — so brilliantly evil that you’ll actually feel like jumping inside the screen and beating him up. You may never have felt such intense anger toward a villain before.

And it’s only the beginning of 2025, yet we’ve already witnessed such brilliant cinema.
The pressure on Bollywood this year is going to be double!
