Yes, it’s hard to believe, but it has already been five years since we watched the first episode of the Panchayat web series. It still feels like we watched it just yesterday. And now, suddenly, the official trailer of Panchayat Season 4 has been released, bringing with it many surprises, a deep love story, and plenty of twists and suspense.

In today’s times, when Bollywood needs double-meaning dialogues, glamorous heroines, and adult comedy to make people laugh, and when ₹200–300 crore is spent on making a film with big-name actors, yet both comedy and the essence of family are missing from what they call family comedy. TVF, with just three letters in its name, can bring a genuine smile to people’s faces without needing any of that. And not just any smile, but one that has been winning over audiences for five years straight.

First of all, a big thank you to the makers of Panchayat Season 4 show—finally, the love between Rinki and Sachiv Ji is out in the open. Even they now know it. The way their scenes were shown in Panchayat Season 4 trailer, it didn’t feel like actors performing, it felt like two real people experiencing their own love on screen. Pure, genuine emotions. This isn’t just a show anymore; it feels like real life. Especially that scene where Rinki madam asks Sachiv Ji to think about the future—that really hits home.

And if that’s not enough reason to binge-watch the entire Panchayat Season 4, here’s more—this time, Panchayat will feature mind-twisting political drama as the main focus of the story revolves around elections. Did you notice? Apart from the MLA, a big-time minister is also shown in Panchayat Season 4 trailer. I strongly suspect he was behind the gunfire incident at the end of Season 3. That’s the special thing about shows like Panchayat—each character fits so perfectly in our minds, they feel like real neighbors from our everyday lives.

I say, forget all that “Spy Universe: War 2” stuff. The real war this time will be fought in Phulera village. Just the poster alone is enough to hype up Panchayat Season 4. The battle for women empowerment will be fierce. There’ll definitely be excellent comedy, but also a good amount of violence too. Expect chaos and destruction. Especially now that a character like Vinod is talking about switching political parties, it’s clear that this Panchayat Season 4 will be packed with twists and turns. Friends will become enemies, and enemies will become friends.

But I don’t know why—after watching the final scene of the trailer, it feels like Pradhan Ji might lose the election this time. That’s probably why he’s seen walking around with cotton in his ears in front of the villagers. This is pure, fresh comedy—no vulgarity, no cheap jokes, and no need for a glamour factor. They’ve simply understood people’s emotions and created a brilliant show around them.

Speaking of emotions, just thinking about it makes me anxious. Like every other season, the ending is probably going to make us cry again. I’m starting to worry—why are there so many scenes of Rinki and Sachiv Ji this time? Could it be that they finally end up together forever at the end of this season?

But yes, there’s one scary thought—the creators of Panchayat mentioned long ago that the series would only have five parts total. After that, it’ll end. So if we think about it that way, this Panchayat Season 4 could be the semi-final season of Panchayat web-series. Which means, something big is bound to happen at the end, hinting at the final season being the conclusion of the story.

That’s why I said—what if Pradhan Ji and Manju Devi actually lose the election? Because if that happens, Sachiv Ji will surely have to leave. And once he’s gone, consider the show Panchayat over for good.
